We specialize in antiques, home essentials and model trains. The store is a family run
business incorporating 3 generations of our family. Although the store is new to downtown
Newton, the family has been operating an antique and model train business in Andover for over
17 years. What is new at the Newton location is the addition of home essentials. It is the
commitment of the business to feature new products created by small-regionalized
businesses operating in the United States.
We carry body care items, soaps, and homecare goods from SweetGrass Farm in New
Hampshire. All SweetGrass products are mixed in small fresh batches and are designed to
use the most mild natural ingredients for both body and home
Our hand-woven rugs and bags are all crafted on antique looms in the Adirondack region of
New York state.
The finest teas from around the world by Harney and Sons, master tea blenders, are blended
and packaged in New York for quality and consistency. Feels Like Home is joining a select
group of fine merchants by carrying Harney and Sons to make tea an everyday luxury.
We are especially proud to have hand crafted fine furniture from Steve Wenzel of Windsor
Chairs in Sparta, New Jersey. His one of- a- kind pieces of furniture can found exclusively at
our store.
We also carry an interesting assortment of French linens from Marseille France. The beauty of
“Provence” colors enhances anyone’s home décor.
And for those enthusiasts of unusual culinary items we are stocking a line of hard to find salts,
oils, sauces, and other wonderful delights.
The store will also be featuring special Thursday night get togethers open to the public. We will
have local craftspeople, that are represented in our store, discussing their trade. And our
resident Train Doctor will be running classes on how to set up, build layouts for and have fun
