| Did you every find some special something you really liked - then couldn't find it at a local store? Tried to order it by mail or the internet and found that it cost $12.00 in "shipping and handling" to get your $9.95 item? Yeah - us, too! Well, we decided to do something about it. Here is a selection of really, REALLY GOOD, and tasty stuff that our family has found over the years, and just went crazy trying to get. So, NOW - we - and you can get it all at FEELS LIKE HOME !!! |
MALDON SEA SALT from England. This is the
stuff that inspired us to start the pantry. Not like
that French salt that looks like big boulders that
you must grind and grind. Maldon Sea Salt is fine,
light flakes. A perfect finishing salt for the table.
Just crumble some on to your plate with your
fingers. SOOOO GOOD! The smoked salt is
excellent on seafood. And, as long as you are
indulging yourself, why not add the Maldon
Organics pepper corns!

and preserves from McCutcheons in Maryland.
Liven up that old english muffin with some
quince or elderberry jelly or maybe some pear
preserves. Or -- how about some
cranberry/orange marmalade? And- hot pepper
jelly is great on cheese and crackers! We've
got all of these and a bunch of other swell
flavors, too.

condiments, sauces, pickled peppers, and their very
special GIARDINIERA ( marinated vegitable / pepper mix)
.Don't confuse this giardiniera with that awful vinegary stuff
you may have experienced before -- it is good! We love
the "mild mix" tossed in salads. The "hot" adds a bit more
zing. And, the extra hot -- really good, but I sugguest some
nice chewy bread as a chaser--- it is HOT!

used to have this on the counter in our
Andover store. Everyone who tried it, kept
asking when we were going to get it in again!
Like it says on the box " Pure, Wholesome
Licorice Hard Candy. And it is made by
Shrivers -- right here in good old New
Jersey! If you like licorice -- YOU WILL
LOVE this candy. It does look like lumps
of hard coal -- and it comes with a little
hammer to break up the lumps!
