Welcome to Feels Like Home On Line!
We spent 17 years in our Andover, NJ shop as Country and Stuff. Then we heard about all the
great things happening on Spring Street in Newton. We decided to move. We have been very
happy with the decision! Spring Street is alive and exciting – with wonderful shops, great
restaurants, and super, live entertainment at the Newton Theater.
Along with the move, we decided to go with an all new , and fresh look, too. Sure, we still have
great antiques and trains, but now we have some very special NEW items as well – great things
for the HOME. That inspired the new name, Feels Like Home.
Something to think about --
We realize that the economy is far from spectacular right now. Here is a thought that might help. A
quality, well-made antique piece of furniture has already stood the test of time. We can offer
tables, chairs, cabinets, dressers, and many other furnishings at prices competitive to new items
imported from China or Viet Nam. The imports often come “flat” in a box, needing assembly. In a
few years, if your needs or tastes change, the antique will have retained its quality and value. The
pressed-board import will probably already be in the landfill!
Now if the economy is getting to you, may I suggest a bit of relaxation with a soothing cup of
Harney and Sons TEA, and maybe a piece of toast with some delicious McCutcheon’s
PRESERVES? Both are available at FEELS LIKE HOME ( you need to supply your own toast).
Now, it's time to check out the other pages!
